Since forming in December 2000, the Resistoleros have stormed the San Francisco Bay Area with their infectious brand of rock and roll, injected with the raw intensity of punk. Although this is the band's first full length CD, none of these guys are new to the game - lead singer Sammytown, was/is the frontman for legendary (read infamous) ‘80s Berkeley punk band Fang; drummer Ike Eichensehr manned the drum kit for Berkeley thrash/punk outfit the Boneless Ones; Brain Shaffer plays bass for Oakland's Cheapskate; and both lead guitarists Jonny Manak and rhythm guitarist Alby Wasted are members of San Jose based The Cliftons. Mix a handful of the Rolling Stones, the Stooges, the MC5, and the Saints with several searing servings of AC/DC and Motorhead, douse with a dash of GG Allin and you've got yourself a sonic idea of what these guys are about. Get with it or get out of their way.
