Formed in the dust of a barroom brawl in 1991, the band gained (and lived up to) a reputation for mayhem on and off stage, pummelling audiences first in their home state (where they played with a who’s who of infamous combos - Dwarves, GG Allin & the Murder Junkies and the Mentors to name a few) with musical, verbal and, when necessary, physical assaults. Their legend grew fast; and when the Widowmaker hit on the idea of joining forces with a number of like-minded bands (ANTiSEEN, Rancid Vat and Hellstomper) to form the Confederacy of Scum, these Midwest madmen officially staked their territory in the History of Rock and are destined to be, as they first proclaimed oh so many years ago, “The Greatest Band of The 21st Century.”

Some things make my life finer… this is one of those things. Finally the mighty Cocknoose - the most brutal band in Kansas - is back with their second full-length. Actually, most of the songs included were available previously on the (now) out of print slew of 7"s they released on such labels as Baloney Shrapnel, Hardline and Jettison but who cares, having all these gems on a single record make it essential. These 10 songs (plus a hidden track, a cover of "Bite It You Scum" by the mighty GG Allin) are pure ball-crunching redneck punk rock and fucking roll anthems… one of the best pieces of of unadulterated rock 'n ' roll I've ever listened to. If you love Motorhead, AC/DC and ANTiSEEN (i.e.: the best in mean rock & roll) Cocknoose will be your new addiction.

From the same pit that spawned the legendary Motorhead slinks Cocknoose, covered in slime and ready to rip out a few hearts. This is long haired, screaming, grinding rock music, pulsing with sickness and oozing with attitude. These hairy, angry and tattooed mothers are not interested in subtlety or art. Ripping skin from skulls is the mission. The mission is accomplished with songs such as "All Jacked Up", "Bloody Chainsaw" and "Bad Street USA." This is a very, very loud record.
